This scale is absolutely fantastic!! I haven't changed the batteries once, I use it every single day, it collects your data quickly, pairs automatically to my phone, and is sleek/easy to use. Most importantly: the data is ACCURATE. I've compared the numbers from this with a medical grade biometric scale (weight, body fat, muscle mass, water weight) and they match up! I love it! Bought this scale last year and came back to leave a review because I rely so heavily on them myself.
I got this a while ago and was a bit impressed of how big the box was, the instructions were a little tricky to navigate at first (and the app as well), but upon getting it set up everything became a breeze after. I was shocked how articulate this scale is��I should��ve expected that��coming with an app and all.
I am very impressed with this scale .It's provides me with accurate biometrics to help me keep track of my health progression. All you have to do is connect your scale to the Starfit App on your cell phone via Bluetooth. Excellent buy for anyone who is wanting to improve their health.
Beside of the cool design its fast and accurate! It has sooo many tracking metrics. These metrics are actually helpful for anyone who has started thier fitness journey.
I love that the app, which you should get, gives you a description of all the measured parameters so you know the appropriate ranges. For those who like to keep track of their weight, or who are on a diet like me, I highly recommend it.

I was very impressed with this. I��m a personal trainer and nutritionist and the gym I work at uses the inbody body composition scanner ��which is one of the best body scanners out there. DEXA is the gold standard and Inbody is incredibly close to those results. That being said, I did not expect something as affordable as this to be that accurate. I did hope it would be accurate to itself to keep track of progress.
The results from your consistency really show— even if your weight doesn’t change much day to day, the downward fat trend proves the process is working. Keep it up, looking forward to seeing even more steady and real progress!
I've been using this scale for about 3 months now. I have lost about 5 lbs and improved my muscle mass (according to the scale). For me, having daily metrics on my body composition is a big help and I think they are "mostly correct." That said, this scale (and probably many like it) do not actually measure Body Fat. As I understand, it uses changes in electrical conductivity between the feet and hand sensors to "guess" your body composition. It uses your height, gender and probably age to help with the "guess." I did a simple experiment to show this: I weighed myself before breakfast (6:36am). Then again after a large cup of coffee (7:12), then again after another large coffee (8:12) and again after a 3rd coffee and yogurt (8:44). I expected my "water content" to go up since coffee is mostly water. But instead my Body Fat increased with each measurement. According to the scale, I gained over two pounds of Body Fat after drinking 3 large cups of coffee... I also weighed myself many times over a 2 day period. Hourly weight fluctuations are expected as we eat, drink ,use the bathroom and exercise. I would not expect large changes in Body Fat between measurements but that is exactly what I saw. All the other metrics (Bone mass, muscle mass, salt, etc) remained pretty constant. Net- net is this is an interesting and useful device. I think it does a good job measuring overall weight and muscle mass. I suspect from the above experiments, that it calculates Fat as Body Weight - Muscle Mass - Bone Mass. If you average measurements over days or weeks, then it's probably pretty close to your actual Body Fat. Just don't freakout if that 2nd cup of coffee causes you to gain a pound of fat!

Sleek looks by and very compact. The battery lasts for a long time without having to change them out every week. The information that it displays and calculates is very useful when watching weight control. It is built very well and very durable for the value for the money.
I got the RunStar Body Composition Scale a couple of weeks ago as a gift from my wife. It provides 28 different measurements and readings, i.e., weight, BMI, body fat, muscle mass... and a whole lot more. Several of the readings are clearly displayed on the scale and handle. The full list of measurements syncs seamlessly to the app. It even breaks down several of the measurements between the right and left sides of your body. I was worried that it would be difficult to set up, but the directions were clear and easy to follow. Within minutes, I was able to download the app and sync it to my phone. The app even creates a full color printout that shows all the information gathered clearly.

This smart scale is great. Set up directions fit on one page and only take a couple minutes. One of my favorite features is that it is compatible with Fitbit. Unlike most scales that only measure lower limbs, this one features 8 electrodes that measure both upper and lower areas. Results are fast and clear. It’s convenient to have results in one place. The screen is easy to read and overall it’s a sleek and stylish design. I recommend this scale to friends and family.
Scale works as advertised EXCEPT that it DOESN"T actually sync or connect with Google Fit. They have the option in the app, but Google is blocking the app from connecting to Fit, likely due to security reasons that the manufacturer is not addressing and leaving this feature BROKE even though it keeps advertising it does. The scale and BodyFat % and readings the scale give are what I would expect. Scale seems accurate, comparing to my older scale. The app has lots of data to view so that is a plus, but the fact that weight measurements aren't syncing to google fit is a downer and looses a whole STAR for just that fact alone. This is a software issue, that can fixed by the StarFit developers if they were inclined, but they haven't. The selllers page here on Amazon should REMOVE that feature from their list, as it might be capable in theory, they haven't implemented a working version of it. Unless they fix soon, this is false advertising.

A super interactive scale for measuring full body statistics, bought this to measure myself as I am progressing thru my body weight challenge at my work place. This scale is very helpful and the quality is exceptional with a lot of outputs can be seen thru the app. Very easy to setup and go, as it has a scale that talks to me when done prompts with voice. Which is very cool idea to have. Also it does chrxks body bmi and fat percentage thru the arm holder that collects stats from the blood pressure thru holding probes.
